Xfinity vs. AT&T

Xfinity Commercial / 2021
Produced at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners
Role: Designer, Animator

Goodby & Silverstein came to me with an idea of a CGI video for our friends at Xfinity. We explored various creative solutions that involved motion graphics, 3D renders, and lighting simulations. After long weeks of research & development, we were able to find the perfect balance with the Xfinity brand and the dynamic design approach that we pitched. With a limited team of designers, we had to develop a production pipeline that would allow us to be vigilant and adaptable.

During pre-production, our team used Cinema 4D as our main tool of creating concepts, designs, and eventually animation. We explored a variety of ways that light could be utilized in our video because we saw it as a tool that could help create contrast and brand awareness.

We used x-particles as a way to simulate light through glowing beams. Using x-particles was a crucial part of of our early development because of how fast it was able to simulate a variety of forms, colors, and real-world dynamics.
